'Taclo'r Tasgau' should be used as a classroom resource primarily for teaching, taking advantage of opportunities to expand learners' vocabulary and language knowledge in a range of contexts. An entire activity does not have to be delivered to the learners at the same time. A single text could be used over a period of time, highlighting different features in the text in preparation and then giving feedback after the learners have completed the task.
At the end of most of the pieces there are extended discussion, research or writing questions. These questions will give learners an opportunity to reason and offer great opportunities to develop the learners' wider skills.
The series encourages learners to find the answers and to enrich their knowledge through a collection of appealing and compelling topics. The books are graded and can be used at school or at home. The books are also supported by interactive resources on Hwb.
