These words are sung at sporting events, at the end of concerts or celebrations, but how many of us know the history behind the writing of the anthem? The anthem speaks of 'enwogion o fri' [people of stature], and Wales truly has produced many of them: Tom Jones, Gareth Bale, Waldo Williams, and who else?
