Llun a Thrin

The 'Llun a Thrin' pack includes a set of 30 A4 size discussion cards on different themes for learners at the end of Progression Step 2 and Progression Step 3. There is a picture on the front of each card with a set of questions and activities for the practitioner on the back of each card to stimulate discussion among the learners.

The cards and activities offer opportunities for learners to present information, ideas, and opinions, and to listen, collaborate, and discuss in meaningful contexts. There are opportunities to discuss in different language registers – formal and informal – depending on the context. The activities cover the full range of ability, with some activities for learners working at a basic level, and others more suitable for more able and talented learners.
