Pecyn Pos Mathemateg - 1

This is the first in a series of three packs of puzzles for less confident learners, with the aim of attracting them to mathematical ideas. By using everyday life situations, simple language and colourful images, they foster learners' ability to develop understanding, and to make connections between mathematical ideas. Four characters - Asha, Cai, Hai and Lili - guide us through the puzzles. 

The pack contains 50 double-sided cards, with one side offering an explanation or practicing a mathematical concept, and the other offering a 'challenge' to practice and extend. The packs are graded at three levels, with the first pack containing the simplest challenges. The answers to all the puzzles can be found on Hwb.
