Here is a set of cards that can be used in discussion sessions in school to raise the standard of Key Stage 2 learners' writing skills.

The pack contains 20 colourful cards that cover a wide range of formats such as brochures, instructions, letters, reports, diaries, advertisements, posters, announcements, emails, invitations and so on, giving particular attention to the possible variations within each format depending on the purpose and the reader that the learner will be writing for.
